Morena Rial will begin 2026 deprived of her freedom in the Magdalena Penitentiary Unit, where she was transferred after she failed to comply with the conditions that the justice system had imposed on her in the case involving robberies in homes in Villa Adelina.
Almost three months after her arrest, new details began to emerge about how she is spending her day-to-day life behind bars.
According to information released in recent hours, Jorge Rial's daughter managed to join a work routine inside the prison, a key step to structure her days and comply with the activity programs offered by the penitentiary service.
The information was revealed on LAM (América), where it was also explained that Morena will spend the year-end holidays in a particular situation: she doesn't share a cell with other inmates and remains accompanied by a female guard, a measure that had already been applied on Christmas Eve.
According to what was detailed on the show hosted by Ángel de Brito, this decision responds to a provision by the penitentiary service itself.
"It is to prevent other prisoners from taking advantage of her family's position", they explained, highlighting the special care that surrounds the media personality inside the facility.
The tasks that Morena Rial performs in prison
Regarding her daily activity, the television show specified that Morena began to perform administrative tasks inside the unit. Her duties include classifying books in the prison library and monitoring the entry log, work that is part of the internal reintegration and occupation programs.
Her workday runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a split schedule, which allows her to stay busy for most of the day. In addition, it emerged that she spends a lot of time communicating with her friend Evelyn, the same person who had offered her house in the context of a possible request for house arrest that ultimately did not go through.
However, one of the details that drew the most attention was the unusual personal request that she reportedly made inside the prison. According to what was revealed on LAM, one of Morena Rial's most frequent requests is that they bring her ice to eat, a practice that, according to reports, she uses as a way to calm her anxiety.
