Jalil met with the electoral command to coordinate election security

Jalil held a meeting with military authorities to define the security and logistics operation for the October elections

The governor of Catamarca, Raúl Jalil, led a key meeting with the military authorities responsible for the October electoral operation. Accompanied by the Minister of Government, Security, and Justice, Fernando Monguillot, he received at Government House the commander of the Catamarca Electoral District, Colonel Carlos Dittricht, and Lieutenant Colonel Rodolfo Santillán.

The main focus of the meeting was to coordinate every aspect of security and logistics for the upcoming electoral event, in which thousands of Catamarcans will participate. According to reports, the work includes coordination between federal and provincial forces to ensure effective deployment throughout all areas of the province.

Coordination with the Federal Judiciary

During the meeting, the military authorities provided details about the previous meeting they held with the federal judge and other officials responsible for electoral matters. Protocols for action, resource distribution, and deployment of personnel in the different localities were defined there.

Jalil emphasized the importance of joint work between the Nation, Province, and the Armed Forces to ensure that the electoral process takes place in an environment of order and transparency. The advance coordination aims to prevent issues and ensure that every citizen's vote is cast with complete normality.

Resources and logistics for a secure process

The provincial government made vehicles, equipment, and support personnel available to complement the work of the Electoral Command. The strategy includes ensuring security at schools designated as voting centers, safeguarding the transport of ballot boxes, and monitoring access to the most remote localities.

The provincial Executive emphasized that the transparency of the process is a priority, and that advance planning will allow for a rapid response to any contingency. This coordinated work is part of the preparations ahead of an election that will determine important provincial and national positions.

An operation with provincial reach

The deployment will cover all departments of Catamarca, including urban and rural areas, with special attention to hard-to-reach regions. The collaboration of federal forces will cover strategic points and reinforce security at voting centers with the highest turnout.

Jalil reaffirmed that the government's commitment is "to guarantee an orderly, secure, and transparent electoral event for all Catamarcans." The meeting with the electoral command is part of a series of meetings that will be held until the date of the elections to fine-tune every operational detail.
