Javier Milei praised La Derecha Diario after presenting at IAEF
The Argentine president highlighted the media for real information and the fight against left-wing disinformation
Upon leaving his lecture at the 42nd Annual Congress of the Argentine Institute of Finance Executives (IAEF), President Javier Milei made a notable gesture toward La Derecha Diario.
Surrounded by journalists and supporters, the president paused briefly to congratulate the portal: "What a beautiful job you do, I congratulate you because you have to be informing, with all the criminals misinforming," he declared.
The President's words did not go unnoticed and reflect the appreciation for a media outlet that represents a journalistic space committed to a critical vision of the dominant progressive narrative in other portals and the fight against leftist misinformation.
In a context where many newsrooms are tasked with operating and lying against Milei's Government, La Derecha Diario stands out with journalism that combines investigation, real information, depth, and editorial firmness, thus earning the respect of important public figures.

Milei's speech
Prior to this spontaneous gesture, Milei had delivered his presentation at the IAEF Congress, held at the Buenos Aires City Convention Center.
There, he gave a fiery speech in which he once again highlighted the differences between his administration and previous ones, reviewing the enormous challenges he encountered upon assuming the presidency in December.
"We had the three worst crises in Argentine history," he recalled, noting that the social indicators he inherited were even below those recorded in 2001. The President highlighted the courage of his cabinet to face such a scenario: "Not only Toto (Caputo), but also the entire team, we were in an electric chair," he emphasized bluntly.
One of the most relevant moments of the speech was when Milei compared his reform package to that carried out by Carlos Menem in the '90s. According to him, the impact of DNU 70/23 and the recent enactment of the Ley Bases implies a transformation "eight times larger" than that of the former Riojan president.

Additionally, by including the work of the Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, the calculation rises: "The number of structural reforms means we have done 17 times more reforms than those made in Menem's Government," he stressed.
In another part of his speech, he launched criticisms: "Why are the government's enemies asking for devaluation? Because it's an unpopular measure (...) These guys are encouraging this kind of calamity, they don't care that they've been getting it wrong for a year and a half. To see the level of stupidity, the exchange rate is free and they keep talking about exchange rate lag. I'd be ashamed. They're pathetic."
The Argentine president also destroyed the "econochantas of Mandrilandia" for the removal of the cap: "The whole bunch of mandrills, econochantas of Mandrilandia said the exchange rate was going to skyrocket, they were going to lose reserves at 1,400, what did we answer? No, because the amount of money has been fixed since mid-last year."
The IAEF event, one of the most relevant in the Argentine financial sphere, served as a stage for the President to reaffirm his economic course, with clear messages to the markets, entrepreneurs, and citizens.
But also, with gestures like the one toward La Derecha Diario, he made it clear that he values and celebrates those who accompany the country's transformation process with real information and commitment to the truth.
