President Javier Milei will present the 2026 Budget next Monday, September 15, at 9:00 p.m. This was confirmed by presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni, who specified that the announcement will be made through a national broadcast.
"Next Monday, September 15 at 9:00 p.m. the President of the Nation will speak in a national broadcast, as part of the presentation of the 2026 Budget," Adorni announced this Wednesday via his X account.

The message will be delivered in a politically sensitive context for Milei's government, following the defeat suffered in the legislative elections in Buenos Aires Province, where Kirchnerism managed to win after a massive deployment of its apparatus, since control of its main stronghold was at stake.
The Budget has been a point of conflict since the beginning of the libertarian administration. Since taking office, Milei has used the extension of the 2023 framework, as he disagreed with the changes proposed by the opposition, who sought to increase public spending without explaining where the new allocations would be financed from, destroying the fiscal surplus and generating a new economic crisis.

Last year, Milei prepared a major deployment to unveil the project, which Casa Rosada described as a "historic event." That presentation was held at night, aiming to capture the television audience, and involved a significant operation between Casa Rosada and Congress. His ministers attended the Legislative Palace and a central role was given to the economic team.
