Jimena Barón faced rumors of a barter to give birth and replied firmly

In the final stage of her pregnancy with Matías Palleiro, Jimena Barón became embroiled in a major controversy. According to Yanina Latorre on television, the artist allegedly requested a full barter at the La Trinidad clinic in Palermo for the birth of her child.

The host of Sálvese Quien Pueda shared the information live:  "According to what came to our program's WhatsApp, Jimena Barón allegedly asked for a full barter at La Trinidad." Latorre clarified that she could not confirm the information, but she aired it as a leak from followers of the show.

The defense from her close circle

Quickly,  Lizardo Ponce —a close friend of Jimena— denied the story. He assured that she had everything planned for a long time.  "When we saw each other at the baby shower, she already had everything arranged, even how the delivery would be," the panelist stated.

Despite his intervention,  Latorre insisted. She explained that Jimena's medical coverage might not have included all the costs and that for this reason she might have tried to negotiate a full barter, something the clinic would have rejected.

Jimena's response

In response to the controversy, Jimena Barón did not remain silent. Through a message sent to Lizardo Ponce —and read on air—, the singer categorically denied the rumors: "But what kind of stupidity is this lie?" she said, visibly upset.

The message made it clear that she had no intention of letting a story pass that, according to her, had no basis whatsoever.

An intimate and public dedication

Away from the scandal, the artist also shared on her social media an artistic photo in which she posed completely nude. She accompanied the image with an emotional letter dedicated to her unborn child.

With words full of emotion, Barón celebrated this vital moment she is experiencing, as she awaits the arrival of the baby with her partner, Matías Palleiro.

Amid rumors, media exposure, and clarifications, Jimena Barón was exposed to the possibility of having tried to obtain a barter at the institution where she will give birth in the coming days and, according to Yanina Latorre, this doesn't surprise her.
