Singer Joaquín Levinton, leader of Turf, suffered an acute myocardial infarction during the early hours of Friday and remains hospitalized at Hospital Fernández in Buenos Aires City.
According to official sources, the 50-year-old musician was treated as an emergency and his condition is stable after a key procedure performed in time.

The episode occurred while the artist was at a bar in the Colegiales neighborhood, in the area of Dorrego and Conde. There, he began to feel severe chest pain, which raised the alarm.
Given the situation, SAME was immediately notified, and an ambulance was sent to the location. After an initial assessment, the professionals decided on his urgent transfer to Hospital Fernández.
The medical procedure and the official report
Once at the medical center, Levinton underwent various tests that confirmed the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction. The corresponding protocol was activated immediately.

SAME's head, Alberto Crescenti, explained that the patient was treated by the hospital's hemodynamics team. "An obstruction in one of the arteries was cleared, and the patient is out of danger," he assured.
Currently, Turf's leader remains in intensive care as a preventive measure. The doctors are monitoring his progress hour by hour, although his condition is under control.
