In a new attempt to generate fear, the head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, made statements filled with lies when referring to the model promoted by the president of the Nation, Javier Milei.
"The libertarian model that is, a Buenos Aires without public health and without public education. I have a different view from what they propose with the chainsaw," Macri expressed in an interview, insinuating that the project of La Libertad Avanza would lead to a dismantling of the State in areas like health and education, something that is completely false.
The statements, quickly viralized on social media, caused strong criticism from the people, mainly from Milei's followers. Macri's accusation seems to replicate a well-known strategy called "fear campaign," a resource widely used by the former Kirchnerist presidential candidate Sergio Massa during the 2023 election.

Curiously, Jorge Macri counts among his advisors Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí, the Spanish political consultant who designed that same campaign for Massa, and who also advised Cristina Kirchner at the time.
