The rumor gained traction when journalist Gustavo Méndez hinted that the name of the Argenzuela host was "gaining momentum" in El Nueve's offices. The news quickly went viral on social media and sparked a debate on entertainment programs.
To clarify the situation, Pablo Layus contacted Rial directly and shared his response live on Intrusos (América TV).
"I asked him if there was a possibility and the answer was blunt: 'Not a chance. I can't walk away from a success like Argenzuela and I have a huge amount of work'", the panelist recounted.
This way, Rial flatly ruled out any negotiations with El Nueve and confirmed his continuity at C5N, where he serves as host and central figure.
The statement caused an intense exchange among the program's members. Rodrigo Lussich opined that it would be "unbelievable" to see the former Intrusos host leading a different brand.
