Of the four individuals involved, three are part of the political and institutional circle of the leader in Tres de Febrero
The vandal attack against the facilities of TN and Canal 13, which took place this week in Buenos Aires, brought to light a network of connections that directly links the strikers to the political structure surrounding Juan Debandi, a key figure of La Cámpora in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area.
Of the four identified individuals involved, three are part of the political and institutional circle that the leader has built in Tres de Febrero.
Three of those involved have a direct connection with Debandi
According to the investigation released by journalist Martín González, those responsible for the attack were identified as:
José Lepere, current Secretary of the Interior and former member of La Cámpora.
Facundo Lococo, former councilor of the Tres de Febrero district, very close to Debandi.
Matías Federici, Debandi's own press officer.
Rubén Ezequiel Pavón, student leader at UNTREF, with ties to the university apparatus linked to La Cámpora.
The names, far from going unnoticed, caused repercussions both in the political and media spheres. In particular, Lococo's case once again put the spotlight on the connection between young political cadres and the use of institutional resources for partisan purposes.
Debandi's silence and growing political pressure
Despite the seriousness of the events, Juan Debandi has not yet made any public comments, even though information emerging from the judicial case places him at the center of a network that—according to journalistic reports—links grassroots activism, universities, and state agencies.

"The recurrence of names linked to Debandi is not a coincidence. There is a well-oiled structure that is sustained with public resources and operates at different levels," stated an opposition legislator, who requested anonymity due to possible reprisals to Realpolitik.
Demands from Congress and defense of press freedom
The Chamber of Deputies has already expressed its concern and requested that the ruling party distance itself from what happened. Authorities from various media outlets also joined in, demanding a firm statement in defense of freedom of expression and the safety of press workers.
Meanwhile, sectors close to the government attempted to downplay the incident, without issuing explicit condemnations of those involved. Analysts described this attitude as "a troubling tolerance of political violence."
A new chapter in the tension between the media and political activism
The attack on TN is not an isolated incident; rather, it is part of a highly polarized context, where the line between activism and violent action seems to be blurring. The presence of names linked to La Cámpora in this episode rekindles old fears about the advance of certain political structures within academic institutions and public agencies.
While the judicial investigation continues, the episode sends a clear message: the limits of activism in a democracy are being put to the test, and society is demanding concrete answers.
