Impact on TN: Jorge Giacobbe saw his car destroyed live after a vandalism attack
The analyst was surprised on air to discover that his vehicle had been targeted in the attack on the channel's headquarters
In the middle of a live broadcast, Jorge Giacobbe, TN's political analyst, faced an unexpected situation. During the airing of the program "La ves?", hosted by Jonatan Viale, the cameras showed the damage caused by a group of protesters, and Giacobbe himself recognized his car among the vandalized vehicles.
The sequence took place after the Supreme Court's ratification of the conviction of Cristina Kirchner. After the news broke, demonstrations and disturbances were reported in different parts of the city, including the Constitución neighborhood, where TN and El Trece headquarters are located.
Attack on TN headquarters after the court ruling
A group of Kirchnerist activists broke into the news channel's facilities. During the live tour of the area affected by the attack, a camera showed the channel's parking lot. Several damaged vehicles were there.
Jorge Giacobbe's white Chevrolet Cruze appeared on screen with broken windows, visible dents, and the inscription "No jodan" spray-painted on the bodywork. The analyst, surprised, interrupted his on-air participation to point out that it was his car.
The acts of vandalism took place during a tense day following the Supreme Court's decision. Peronist activists had gathered near the former president's residence, and some moved their protest to the channel's headquarters.

Giacobbe's message after the incident
Minutes after the episode, Jorge Giacobbe posted images on his social media showing the condition of his car. On his X and Instagram accounts, he wrote:
"This is how my car (and others) was left by La Cámpora activists who entered TN today during Jonatan Viale's program."

He accompanied the post with a defiant phrase:
"The only thing I'm afraid of is stopping saying what I think."
Later, the analyst shared a brief clip from the program where he expressed his thoughts in a firm and resigned tone:
"With my car wrecked, I'm telling you that today you have a better country, and you have to deal with the consequences. I'm telling you this with my car wrecked."
The episode highlighted the political tension that the country experienced that day and left a powerful image on the screen: a journalist's live reaction upon seeing how violence reached his own vehicle.
