Journalist Eduardo Feinmann revealed on Wednesday a serious claim about the Kirchnerist judge Marta Elba Pascual, who suspended the application of the new Juvenile Criminal Regime in the province of Buenos Aires for 60 days: he stated that the magistrate allegedly acknowledged in her inner circle that she made the decision at the request of Governor Axel Kicillof and Peronist leader Mariano Cascallares.
During his program, Feinmann claimed to have received the information from someone very close to Pascual, whom he described as someone who knows her “well.” According to the journalist's account, the magistrate herself would be commenting among her acquaintances: “I did what Cascallares and Kicillof asked me, and now no one comes out to support me? They left me alone”.
Feinmann insisted that people close to the judge, with legal knowledge, began to question her over the controversial resolution and reproduced another supposed response from Pascual to those complaints: “Well, I did what Cascallares and Kicillof asked me. Now they leave me alone”.
Cascallares is currently a provincial deputy for Unión por la Patria and one of the leaders closest to the political structure with presidential aspirations of Axel Kicillof in the Buenos Aires territory, with alleged ties to the judiciary.
