The judicial authorities of Córdoba have decided to integrate advanced algorithms to optimize the management of cases throughout the province. This strategic alliance seeks to radically transform access to information through cutting-edge digital technological tools. The agreement sets an essential precedent in Argentina by uniting the efforts of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) and the representatives of local attorneys.
The project called “LEGAL IA” consists of a processing engine that will organize case law in a much more efficient and accessible way. This software will work exclusively with duly anonymized rulings to protect the identity of the citizens involved in each proceeding. Legal professionals will now have an intelligent search engine capable of analyzing complex precedents in a matter of just a few seconds.
The signing of the document coincides with the completion of the first one hundred years of institutional life of both bodies that signed this pact: TSJ and Bar Association of Córdoba. Eduardo Bittar, president of the latter, emphasized: “It is the first time that it has been done in the country; we aspire to have all case law available, always safeguarding the data”. This ongoing collaboration aims to raise the quality standard in public service and strengthen the transparency of judicial work.

Benefits of modernization and implementation phases
Luis Angulo, president of TSJ, and Aída Tarditti explained that the central objective of this technological implementation is to improve the effectiveness of responses to social demand. The streamlining of inquiries will allow judges to solve cases with greater technical clarity in a much shorter time. This advance significantly reduces internal bureaucracy and promotes decision-making based on a robust and reliable database today.
At first, the system will be applied exclusively in the labor jurisdiction before it progressively expands to the other areas of law. This sector was chosen due to its high volume of litigation and the urgent need to streamline procedures for the benefit of workers. Once the initial experience has been consolidated, the platform will cover the civil and commercial fields in order to unify digital search criteria.
Córdoba is thus positioning itself as the most innovative district in Argentina in terms of applying new sciences to legal practice. Ongoing training for operators will be essential to ensure that these tools are used under strict current ethical criteria. This commitment to innovation ensures a system of justice that is closer and more understandable for all inhabitants who require the protection of local law.
