The businessman explained that he arrived in the country in 2024 and, after detecting “the systematic corruption of the covered media”, decided to acquire La Derecha Diario, founded by Juan Pablo Carreira and promoted by Fernando Cerimedo, to help wage the cultural battle in the country.

“A few days later, on July 27, 2024, a journalist from Casa Rosada called me and told me to go with him to 267 Maipú Street to meet Daniel Sede who wanted to sell his Radio Concept 1050,” he explained.

Negre explained that during the negotiations it detected the direct presence of the Russian network within the radio station's programming. “We held two meetings to close the operation and I told him that I had no problem maintaining some of his programs except one that was sponsored by the Russians and that had journalists from Sputnik, one of the Kremlin's official media,

The conflict deepened when he refused to keep that content on the grid. “He told me that couldn't be because they paid him good money and I told him that I couldn't accept Russian propaganda,” he added

The breaking point came at a new radio meeting, where he claimed to have seen Russian representatives directly. “We agreed to see each other again the following week and when I got to the radio I found some enigmatic Russians
,” he said.
According to his testimony, in that instance, the owner of the station canceled the transaction after receiving a higher offer. “He told me that he couldn't sell me the radio because the Russians, when they found out that I wanted to buy them the radio and kick them out of there, decided to make him a dizzy offer well above the commercial value
,” he said.
Negre assured that he had access to documentation that supported that offer and that evidenced a larger scheme. “He put the papers of the offer on the table and assured me that they were buying space in other media and from journalists,” he said. In addition, he added: “The person who introduced me to him even told me that they gave him a million dollars on the radio.”
After that episode, he maintained that he decided to escalate the complaint to the authorities. “I left that meeting and I felt obliged to tell a senior government official and to denounce it publicly,” he said.
