Khamenei's regime suspended cooperation with the IAEA after the end of the war.

The Iranian parliament determined in recent hours that they will no longer cooperate with the tasks of the International Atomic Energy Agency

Iran's Parliament unanimously approved the suspension of all cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in response to the recent joint attacks by the United States and Israel against its main nuclear facilities and after a total cessation of hostilities was agreed upon.

The decision, which still must be ratified by the Guardian Council, complicates international efforts to assess the real extent of the damage caused to Iranian nuclear infrastructure and makes it more difficult to track the whereabouts of highly enriched uranium.

The President of Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, stated that the IAEA had become a political tool that was not fulfilling its functions and accused the agency of failing to condemn the attacks on Iranian facilities.

Parliament also demanded security guarantees before resuming any form of cooperation with the agency. After the vote, the deputies chanted slogans against the United States and Israel.

The approved law halts activities such as the installation of surveillance cameras, inspections, and the submission of reports to the IAEA, unless the security of the facilities is guaranteed.

It also stipulates that future inspections must be authorized by Iran's Supreme National Security Council. Meanwhile, Qalibaf pledged an acceleration of the civil nuclear program, challenging President Donald Trump's statements, who asserted that Iran "would never again approach" a nuclear program.

This decision comes in a context of growing regional tension and after 12 days of war. Although a provisional assessment by the United States suggests that Iran's nuclear program was only delayed by a few months, Trump declared that it had been "annihilated."

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, admitted for the first time that the damage to the nuclear facilities was severe.

The IAEA's Director General, Rafael Grossi, warned that the international community can't accept Iran ceasing cooperation and admitted that his agency doesn't know the location of Iran's highly enriched uranium. The suspension of cooperation comes after an IAEA resolution that strongly criticized Tehran's lack of collaboration.

From Russia, an ally of Iran, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov expressed concern about the "loss of credibility of the IAEA" and stated that the possibility of resuming negotiations on a new nuclear agreement has weakened.

In Iran, Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref warned that the country has entered a new stage in which it will no longer allow negotiations on its uranium enrichment capacity within its territory.

Meanwhile, an internal debate is opening up regarding the possibility of leaving the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Some sectors argue that if the treaty doesn't protect Iran from sanctions or military aggression, its continued participation loses meaning.

Although Iran insists that developing a nuclear bomb goes "against its religious principles", it could choose to maintain an ambiguous stance as a deterrent against future attacks.

Domestically, Masoud Pezeshkian's government promotes a narrative of national unity in the face of external aggression, but critics claim that this consensus is based more on rejection of Israel than on real support for the regime. The repression of dissidents has also intensified, under the pretext of seeking Mossad infiltrators.

Finally, the vulnerability of Iran's air defenses and the failure of Russia to deliver Sukhoi-35 fighter jets is being questioned. In addition, the increase in refugees from Afghanistan and Kurdistan has been identified as a factor contributing to internal insecurity, which will be assessed during the postwar reconstruction process.
