Kirchnerist terrorists ambushed and attempted to assassinate Milei in Lomas de Zamora

The attack occurred during the caravan led by the president in the Kirchnerist municipality

Kirchnerist terrorists ambushed and attempted to assassinate President Javier Milei during the caravan led by the head of state in Lomas de Zamora. Presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni confirmed that there were no injuries among the entourage, although several libertarian activists were injured.

The route, organized by La Libertad Avanza (LLA) as part of the campaign activities for the provincial legislative elections on September 7, featured massive participation from activists who gathered to accompany and express their support for the president.

However, far-left activists approached the peaceful event with the aim of causing disturbances and brutally assaulted both libertarian activists and the Argentine president, whom they attempted to assassinate by throwing stones and blunt objects at his vehicle.

The attack

The head of state was inside a van along with his sister and General Secretary, Karina, and candidate José Luis Espert, while they were traveling through the main streets of the municipality's downtown. Candidate for the Third Electoral Section, Maximiliano Bondarenko, was also present.

Unexpectedly, the caravan was attacked by a group of people who began throwing stones and other blunt objects at the presidential entourage. Faced with the situation, the van's driver accelerated to remove the president and his team members from the area of aggression, following instructions from the police security detail.

Witnesses and activists present at the scene indicated that the disturbances were caused by groups linked to local Peronism, under the leadership of Mayor Federico Otermín, who infiltrated among Milei's supporters with the aim of generating disorder and violence. The attacks not only affected the president and his entourage, but also resulted in shoving and blows against the libertarian activists who were accompanying the caravan.

According to the narrators, the tense atmosphere was noticeable in the minutes before the van passed by, but it intensified as the caravan moved through downtown Lomas de Zamora, with objects thrown indiscriminately and physical confrontations that forced security forces to intervene.

Witnesses also reported that the Kirchnerist mayor of Lomas de Zamora left a dumpster full of stones and rubble near the site so that violent Kirchnerists could throw them at the Argentine president.

The government's reaction

On his social media, presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni confirmed that there were no injuries: "Activists from the old politics, Kirchnerism in its purest form, and a model of violence that only the cavemen of the past want".

"They attacked with stones the caravan where the President of the Nation was. There are no injuries. The only thing there is are many who are heading toward the most absolute oblivion: Kirchnerism never again," wrote Adorni.

Meanwhile, after the attack on Milei, Casa Rosada stated that "this is the Argentina that ends on 9/7. The Argentina of stones and violence." They also recalled that Kirchnerism left "53% of the population in poverty nationwide, 300% inflation, destroyed the province, and now want to destroy the only person who's changing things, which is President Javier Milei".

"They're willing to smash the President of the Nation's head just so nothing changes. They're willing to do anything because, for the first time, their lives are at stake, because the system they built to impoverish people and hoard power is coming to an end," they concluded.

Despite the incidents, the massive presence of citizens who peacefully attended the caravan reflects the support that Milei keeps in the region, although Kirchnerist violence led to the suspension of the political activity.
