Sergio Agüero once again demonstrated that he doesn't need much to turn a football conversation into a viral moment. During a relaxed chat that also included Marcelo Gallardo, Kun took advantage of a debate about the pauses in his show La casa del Kun to recall the historic Copa Libertadores final in 2018 between River and Boca.
It all started when the question was raised whether an additional interruption during a match could benefit the coaches. Gallardo tried to respond cautiously and pointed out that the convenience of those pauses was relative, as they could be favorable or detrimental depending on the course of the match.
However, Agüero quickly found the opportunity to introduce an unexpected jab related to the most important Superclásico in history.
The unexpected reference from Kun to the final in Madrid
“Of course, for example, in Madrid… Boca benefited from that break,” said the former forward of the Argentine National Team, fixing his gaze on Carlos Tévez, who was a Boca player in that final.
For his part, Tévez responded but ignored Kun's comments: “But what, is it a business or what? Is it a business? Is it a business? Was it made to be a business?”
