Left-wing terrorists brutally attacked the police at Congress.
Violent left-wing protesters beat and even strangled officers
On a new day of leftist violence in downtown Buenos Aires, violent Kirchnerist activists and left-wing terrorists caused disturbances this Wednesday at the National Congress under the pretext of demanding an increase in retirees' benefits. Various social and labor organizations also joined the demonstration.
Security forces implemented a broad security operation around Congress in an attempt to prevent total street blockades by applying the anti-picket protocol. In this context, the march began its route from Congress toward Plaza de Mayo.
City Police officers escorted the demonstrators with the aim of keeping traffic partially open on Avenida de Mayo. During the journey, numerous attacks against the officers were carried out by the demonstrators.

The images were captured by the cameras of media outlets present during the disturbances. In this context, numerous City Police officers were brutally assaulted by left-wing terrorists.
One of the attacks was captured live by the cameras of the Kirchnerist channel C5N, which was covering the march in real time, but although the officer was brutally assaulted, the far-left journalists justified the attack.
The incident took place at the beginning of the route that started near the National Congress and headed toward Plaza de Mayo, where the demonstrators planned to read a document with criticism and demands addressed to Javier Milei's government.

Meanwhile, as a group of officers tried to stop the advance of the columns to preserve vehicle circulation around Casa Rosada, a police officer who had fallen behind at the corner of Avenida de Mayo and Libertad Street was attacked from behind by one of the protest's terrorists.
At another moment, an officer from the same force fell to the ground while being assaulted by the demonstrators. Television cameras recorded how a violent leftist grabbed him by the neck in a clear attempt to strangle him.
Despite the incidents and some moments of tension between demonstrators and security forces, no arrests have been reported so far. City Police applied the anti-picket protocol to contain the march and prevent total blockades.
