Let it Die: Inferno, the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed roguelite action, will offer a free demo exclusive to PC during Steam Next Fest. Players will be able to access this trial version from October 13 to 21, experiencing firsthand the new exploration and combat mechanics before the official release.
The title, developed by Supertrick Games and published by GungHo Online Entertainment, is scheduled for full release on December 4 on PC and PlayStation 5.
An evolution from the original Let it Die
Unlike the first Let it Die (2016), which was a free-to-play hack and slash game, Let it Die: Inferno adopts a paid format, aiming to offer a deeper and more polished experience.
According to its developers, this decision is driven by the desire to provide more complete content, without the limitations of the free-to-play model. With this, Inferno positions itself as a premium offering within the action roguelite genre, maintaining its characteristic dark and surreal tone.
Revamped mechanics and progression system
In Let it Die: Inferno, players will take on the role of a raider who can change bodies after death, introducing a new dynamic of resurrection and evolution. Exploration will take place within the Gate of Hell, a randomly caused environment where each attempt to advance provides the opportunity to learn, improve, and progress.

The demo will allow players to try the core gameplay loop, focused on exploration, combat, and reincarnation after each defeat. In addition, each run will have a time limit, which will require quick and strategic decision-making.
Technical requirements and availability
During Steam Next Fest, access will be restricted to users with systems that meet advanced technical requirements, including a mandatory SSD. This requirement highlights the game's technical level, although it could limit participation for players with older hardware.
The development team is composed of original members of Grasshopper Manufacture, known for their creative and experimental style. This way, Let it Die: Inferno seeks to recapture the essence of the original game and improve it with lessons learned after the closure of Deathverse: Let it Die in 2023.

A promising return for fans of the genre
With its intense aesthetic, deep progression system, and free demo prior to launch, Let it Die: Inferno is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated roguelites of the year. The combination of action, exploration, and tactical decision-making promises to attract both veteran followers and new players interested in the infernal offering of the Let it Die universe.
