Michael Douse, publishing director at Larian Studios, the studio behind Baldur's Gate 3, also shared his opinion. According to him, the industry needs "human experiences with direction and vision," and not more "mathematically caused loops."
Despite the criticism, Musk keeps his optimistic vision. He stated that xAI is already hiring designers and programmers specialized in video games to lead the project. His goal is to merge generative technology, game engines, and neural rendering to redefine the creation of interactive experiences.

The announcement was made from his official account on X (formerly Twitter). Musk reaffirmed his idea of creating a video game studio under xAI. His goal, as he explained, is to move away from the control of large corporations that dominate the industry and return creativity to the development process.
"xAI Game Studio will release a large-scale game fully caused by AI before the end of next year," the entrepreneur stated, reaffirming a message he had already anticipated in 2023. Back then, he had said: "Too many studios are controlled by corporations. We're going to make games great again."
