Organizations of lesbians, gays, and bisexuals from different countries have decided to disassociate from the traditional LGBT movement, stating that it is dominated by "transsexuals" and by gender ideology. On Saturday, they announced the creation of LGB International, a new platform focused on defending the rights of homosexual people.
The organizers maintain that traditional LGBTQ+ organizations no longer fulfill their original purpose. Instead of focusing on issues such as the criminalization of homosexuality in 64 nations, the lack of legal recognition for same-sex couples, or the persistent discrimination against gays and lesbians, they believe that these organizations now prioritize gender ideology activism.
The president of LGB International, Frederick Schminke, stated that the groups that once represented homosexuals are now "completely dedicated to gender identity ideology." He also asserted that the rights of same-sex attracted people are increasingly being sidelined, while "traditional LGBTQ+ organizations have entrenched themselves against all logic."

The new group brings together entities from 18 countries, from Taiwan to Australia, Bulgaria, and the United States. Its creation follows the example of the United Kingdom's LGB Alliance, founded in 2019. "This is a declaration of independence. Today, lesbian, gay, and bisexual people have a new global organization," the organization posted on its X account.
