Lineage II launches Project Wolf, a free expansion with werewolves and more PvP

Lineage II, the legendary MMORPG video game developed by NCSoft, celebrates its 21^st anniversary with the release of Project Wolf, a new free expansion that introduces a completely original class centered on werewolves.

This new content is now available for PC and promises to renew the experience in both PvP and PvE modes.

Project Wolf: lycanthropic powers, enhanced speed and strength

Inspired by lycanthrope mythology, Project Wolf allows players to become werewolves, acquiring unique abilities called Wolf Powers. Characters who choose this new class can use claws as weapons, wear light armor, and develop enhanced defenses, which substantially changes the gameplay style.

Among the most notable abilities is Lunatic, which increases physical attack power, improves critical damage, and boosts the character's attack speed. During the night within the game, the Night Hunter effect also activates automatically, providing temporary benefits until dawn.

New cooperative and competitive experiences

Project Wolf also expands the universe of Lineage II with new content for solo players and groups. The highlight of this expansion is Fafurion’s Underwater Canyon Battle, a massive raid for 50 players that promises intense underwater battles.

Additionally, the weekly event Battle of Annihilation of the Dark Legion is added, taking place every Sunday. In this event, players will face hordes of enemies until reaching the final boss, in a dynamic that combines teamwork, strategy, and firepower.

Special rewards for the 21^st anniversary

To celebrate more than two decades of history, Lineage II incorporates events with daily gifts. Players can participate in the attendance register to receive rewards every day, in addition to receiving a gift box with nine exclusive items and a commemorative instrument to join the in-game celebrations.

"We want to thank our community with an expansion designed to surprise, maintain the challenge, and renew the bond with the Lineage universe," expressed NCSoft in an official statement.

With this update, Lineage II updates without losing its essence, integrating new mechanics that extend its longevity and reposition it as one of the great references of the genre.
