After 14 years together, Luli Fernández surprised her followers by announcing her separation from Cristian Cúneo Libarona, with whom she shared more than a decade of love, a life story, and the upbringing of their son, Indalecio.
The model and host herself shared the news through a lengthy message on Instagram, where she reflected on the most significant moments of their relationship and explained the reasons that led them to make this decision.
“Almost 14 years ago, I met Cristian and from the very first moment all my instincts told me: "he's the one." I knew he was the person I wanted to start a family with: a good, loyal, simple, and loving man”, Luli began writing in her statement, which quickly went viral.

She then recalled how the relationship grew over time: “The years went by, we shared everything, and from that immense love, Indalecio came into our lives. Becoming his parents was, without a doubt, the most unbelievable thing that ever happened to us.”
However, she also spoke honestly about the wear and tear that emerged over the years: “At some point along the way, maybe we forgot about ourselves as a couple. Getting along so well and loving each other so much made none of that noticeable. Even we didn't see it.”
Finally, she confirmed the breakup in a calm and mature tone: “Some time ago, we decided to end our relationship as a couple. We are very fortunate: we were able to do it from a place of respect, kindness, and an immense affection that will always keep us united, only this time in a different way.”

The love story between Luli Fernández and Cristian Cúneo Libarona began in 2012, when the model went to the law firm where he worked to solve a legal matter. What started as a professional meeting ended up becoming a relationship that, two years later, led them to the altar. They got married in 2014 and formed a blended family: Cristian already had children from a previous marriage and, in 2019, Indalecio was born, their first child together.
During those years, they faced an age difference—she is 18 years (18 años) younger—and constant media exposure. Still, they always appeared solid publicly. Luli had mentioned in various interviews that the key to their relationship was respect and communication.
