An Argentine citizen was arrested in the City of Buenos Aires for issuing death threats to the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, through social media.
The arrest was carried out by the Argentine Federal Police (PFA) as part of an investigation initiated by the National Ministry of Security.
Violent messages and explicit threats
The case began on March 20 following a complaint from the Ministry itself, which reported a series of intimidating messages directed at the national official. The posts, made on social media, contained threats such as:
"Doesn't it hurt to be such a fascist? People like you deserve to die before we hire a hitman on the Deep Web to have you taken out here, dear little piece of trash."
"I'm going to kill you. Someday you'll enter Congress. Before you tighten the screws again and beat up retirees like in 2001."
Given the seriousness of the statements, the PFA's Anti-Terrorism Investigation Unit intervened and identified the author of the messages as L. G. G., 37 years old, residing on Luzuriaga Street.
