Marcelo Polino shared details about his close relationship with Milei's government.
The producer decided to defend the private sector that supports a culture of quality and acknowledged that he voted for the government
Marcelo Polino became a trending topic in recent hours due to an interview he gave to La Casa Stream. In it, the theater producer spoke about the speech he delivered after receiving the Martín Fierro for the play 100% Fátima, in which he thanked the support of private entities.
"We eat and work with private capital. With people who save and treat themselves to the pleasure of seeing something at the theater. You saw that I said it and everyone went silent," Polino recalled about the words that reportedly made the rest of those present uncomfortable.
"There was no applause and there were only strange looks. But I didn't say anything out of the ordinary," he continued, emphasizing his stance in favor of support from private companies, which make Fátima Flórez's show possible.

"Did you feel like you were left as a government supporter?" one of the program's hosts asked him. "Honestly, I don't really care. In fact, I voted for this government and it's public knowledge that I have a good relationship," he acknowledged.
"I'm not a fanatic of anything and I'm not affiliated with any party. I always say that I'm a Polinista from the very beginning and I believe that everything I said was without a political flag, it was what I felt. Above all because I know that our producers put in a lot of money," he analyzed regarding the number of companies that continue to support quality theater productions.
"We are a company of 50 people and so it's a lot of money that moves. When we do each season, we have to think about the hotel, the food, and everything. Now we're on tour and in the summer we're going back to Mar del Plata," he revealed about his future projects with Fátima Flórez.

As this opinion about the artistic market went viral on X, a large number of people supported Marcelo Polino and congratulated him for no longer seeking "official advertising" like many of his colleagues.
"Those who live off the state are always kukas. Those who took a risk to do something on their own are never leftists,""I love Polino. Example of a person and a professional! As consistent as few workers. Impeccable," and "This is being free and not giving a damn about the opinion of the kukas," were some of the messages that multiplied on X.
