María Becerra will be the new judge on La Voz España.
The singer continues her international rise and joins the successful music reality show on Spanish television
María Becerra continues to consolidate her career as one of the most influential Argentine artists of the moment, and now she adds a new achievement to her international projection: she was officially introduced as part of the staff of La Voz España, one of the most popular shows on Iberian television. The artist, born in Quilmes, will be co-coach to Sebastián Yatra in the twelfth season of the talent show broadcast by Antena 3.
The announcement was made during the FesTVal de Vitoria, the event that brings together the main figures and productions of Spanish television every year. There, it was confirmed that Becerra will accompany the Colombian singer in the Battles stage, one of the most demanding phases of the competition, in which contestants face off in duos on stage to defend their place in the contest.

María Becerra will be part of a select group of guest co-coaches who will work alongside the main judges. In addition to her participation with Yatra, Carla Morrison will join Mika, Chiara Oliver will join Pablo López, and Joaquina —winner of the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2023— will join Malú. As usual, the show will be hosted by Eva González and promises a renewed edition, with a strong presence of both young and established Latin pop artists.
Sebastián Yatra spared no praise when introducing the Argentine artist. "She is one of the most authentic and spontaneous artists of recent years. She has a real connection with music and with the audience, and I'm sure her participation will bring soul and spark to the show," said the Colombian.
María Becerra's presence in La Voz España is no coincidence. In just five years, her career has taken a meteoric leap: she went from recording homemade covers for YouTube to becoming one of the most listened-to artists on Spanish-language digital platforms.

With millions of monthly listeners and collaborations with figures such as J Balvin, Becky G, Manuel Turizo, Camila Cabello, and TINI, Becerra has established herself as a leading figure in Latin urban music, standing out for her versatility across pop, reggaeton, ballads, and trap.
Her drawing power also speaks for itself. In December 2023, she made history by becoming the first Argentine woman to fill two Monumental River Plate stadiums in a 360° format, with more than 85,000 people per night. For this year, she repeats the feat with two new dates: December 12 and 13, with tickets selling out within hours.
