María Becerra slammed Kirchnerist Mayra Mendoza for the deplorable state of Quilmes.

The artist shared the feelings she experiences when returning to her parents' house in the southern area of Buenos Aires

María Becerra, one of the most successful Argentine singers at the moment, once again showed her most sensitive side by reflecting on the inequalities she still sees in Quilmes, a municipality governed by Kirchnerist  Mayra Mendoza.

In an interview on LuzuTV, the artist promoted her upcoming show at River Plate stadium and recalled her origins.  "It happens to me a lot when I go back to Quilmes, to my parents' house. I see all kinds of realities," she commented.

The singer said that she has friends who live in apartment blocks and others in gated communities. That diversity led her to value simple gestures that for many are luxuries.  "I realize the privilege of drinking bottled water and not water from the tap in Quilmes," she expressed.

Sensitivity for her neighborhood and social perspective

Becerra emphasized that this contrast becomes more evident when she returns to her hometown.  "It's something that seems normal to me today, but there are many people for whom it's a privilege," she pointed out.

The host Nicolás Occhiato agreed that these differences often become normalized until one returns to their place of origin. He himself, raised in Greater Buenos Aires, showed himself to be close to the singer's reflection.

The "Nena de Argentina" also shared her dreams beyond music. Among them, opening a shelter for domestic and wild animals, and founding an organization to support single mothers.

A new milestone at River Plate

Becerra sold out the presale tickets for her December 12 concert in just 90 minutes. It will be the first show with a 360° stage at River, with a capacity for 85,000 people.

The announcement was made through a video on social media, where she sang her song Infinito como el mar from the top of a building, dressed in red, while drones lit up the sky with the date and the concept of the show.  "The biggest show Monumental has ever experienced," she stated on her social media.
