Mariana Segulin left TN after 8 years and revealed the real reason for her departure
The journalist explained why she chose to step away from TV and what her new professional path is like
On May 11, Mariana Segulin officially announced her departure from Todo Noticias (TN),where she hosted the program "Buena Semana" for eight years. The journalist posted an emotional message on Instagram to say goodbye, although she avoided giving details about the reasons for her decision.
In her post, she expressed gratitude for the years of work, the lessons learned, and the relationships built at the channel. She acknowledged her colleagues, producers, technicians, and cameramen, highlighting the experiences they shared. She also showed emotion at the end of a chapter and excitement for future challenges.
However, the silence regarding the reasons for her departure sparked curiosity among her followers, who began to ask her directly what had happened.
Behind the scenes: passion, travel, and a personal choice
Days later, Segulin decided to be honest and share what led her to leave the screen. In her own words, she explained that she had found her true calling in the world of technology and cybersecurity. There, she discovered opportunities that combined three great passions: communicating, traveling, and speaking other languages.

For a while, she tried to maintain her role at TN while her work in the tech field was growing. But the offers began to multiply and she had to make a decision. "I tried to do both jobs at the same time, but more opportunities for events and travel started to come up, and I had to decide," she confessed.
She also admitted that working on Sundays was a factor. She felt she was missing important moments with her family. "I don't miss having to work on Sundays. That also weighed on me," she said.

New paths: workshops, innovation, and media
Currently, Mariana Segulin is immersed in a dynamic schedule, connected to talks, training sessions, and innovation events. In a recent video, she shared part of her work itinerary: she traveled to Paraná to give a workshop on media and cybersecurity, and she also has activities scheduled with Telecom in Tucumán and Córdoba.
Although she left television, she isn't closing the door to a possible return. In fact, she expressed her desire to come back with a technology column, whether on radio or TV. "I miss the news, I miss going to the channel, seeing my colleagues, and hosting," she said with nostalgia, but also with the confidence of being on a chosen path.
Mariana Segulin closed a chapter at TN with gratitude and professionalism, to make way for a new direction where she combines communication, technology, and personal growth. Her departure was not an escape, but an evolution.
