Martín Ku defended himself against accusations regarding a promotional video linked to alleged human trafficking. In a recent interview, he explained his stance and assured he is willing to cooperate with Justice.
The former participant of Big Brother known for his time on the reality show, returned to the media spotlight after being involved in a controversy over a job offer in Russia that caused strong backlash on social media. The proposal, presented through a video with Nicolás Grosman, also a former Big Brother participant, invited women between 18 and 22 years old to work abroad, raising suspicions due to its ambiguous tone and lack of clarity about the job conditions.

The repercussion was immediate, with complaints on social media, criticism from public figures, and even allegations of possible human trafficking. Given the seriousness of the comments, the video was removed from all platforms. "There was a baseless social condemnation," Ku expressed in a recent interview, where he appeared visibly affected by the situation.
According to his explanation, the proposal was part of a legal and transparent work program, with no links to illicit activities. "I didn't see any irregularities while I was in Russia. The offer was clear within the context in which it was presented there," he stated. He also affirmed that his intention was never to promote anything illegal and that, although he is not charged, he is willing to cooperate with Justice if required.

The scandal gained momentum not only because of the video's content but also due to the context, as social sensitivity around exploitation and human trafficking is increasingly heightened. Additionally, the age group targeted by the proposal, young women, set off all the alarms.
"Many things were said without evidence, and that led to an erroneous narrative about me," Ku added. Despite the controversy, he assures he is not hiding and is facing the consequences of what he describes as a "media misunderstanding." In his words, his sole objective was to facilitate job opportunities abroad, not to be involved in a questionable operation.
For now, Martín Ku hopes the issue will be clarified and that it will be understood that his intention was not to harm anyone. "I trust that everything will come to light clearly. I am not guilty of what I'm accused of," he concluded.
