The weather in the AMBA once again takes center stage this Friday, December 12, with an unusual combination for this time of year. According to Matías Bertolotti, the arrival of westerly winds and an intense system in Patagonia set the tone for an extreme day.
The morning began with 21 degrees (70°F) and very low pressure for Buenos Aires, a clear sign that the atmospheric scenario is altered. The result: dry air, mostly clear skies, and temperatures that rise without restraint.

Today's weather: dry heat and westerly winds
During this Friday, winds from the west and northwest will blow with gusts between 20 and 35 km/h (12 and 22 mph). This type of circulation brings continental and dry air, which enhances the thermal increase.
The forecasted high is 35 degrees (95°F), although Bertolotti did not rule out that the thermometer could climb to 36°C (97°F). Humidity will be very low and the day will be completely clear, during one of the longest periods of the year.
