The legal battle between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara escalated this week to the family courts. The Galatasaray S.K. player submitted a harsh statement to the Argentine judiciary, in which he expressed his concern about a situation he described as "inadmissible" and requested urgent protective measures for his daughters, Francesca and Isabella.
The complaint became public after journalist Gustavo Méndez shared excerpts from the document on his social media. In the statement, Icardi requests the intervention of the family judge: "I beg you, Judge (Hagopián), to require that my daughter not be touched by a stranger".
According to the footballer, his reaction arose after a video went viral in which Martín Migueles is seen caressing one of his daughters while she was sleeping. For Icardi, this event represents an unacceptable invasion of privacy and a risk to the child's emotional safety.
"What is beyond doubt is that this is a recent relationship, another 'new boyfriend' of Ms. Nara, and he is already in intimate situations with my daughters. In light of the very video publicly shared by their mother, my daughter was 'touched' or 'caressed' by a stranger while she was sleeping, and this is inadmissible," the player stated in his filing.
The forward, who has not seen his daughters for more than four months due to his work commitments in Türkiye, emphasized his concern about the environment to which, according to him, they are exposed.
Francesca and Isabella are currently living a life that is inappropriate for girls aged 10 and 8. They are exposed to the media, to harassment from people on the street, all of which would never happen to them in Europe, where they were born and raised as they should have been.

In his filing, Icardi referred to a key precedent: the restriction previously imposed by the judiciary regarding his daughters' contact with his own partner. He used this precedent to request a similar measure concerning Wanda Nara's new relationship.
I want to be clear, Judge: I am not saying that my daughter was abused. I am here to beg you to require that my daughter not be touched by a stranger. You were the one who restricted my daughters' contact with my partner; today you allow 'Ms. Nara's new boyfriend' to inappropriately touch my 10-year-old daughter, who, being asleep, can't even give her consent or refusal," he argued.
He also emphasized that his request is not an accusation of abuse but a preventive measure: What worries me is that situations that expose the girls to unnecessary risks are being normalized. Most cases of child abuse occur within the family environment. As a father, I can't look the other way.
The complaint comes amid a prolonged dispute over custody and communication arrangements between Icardi and Wanda Nara, who have maintained a contentious relationship since their final separation. The player is seeking for his daughters to return to their "center of life" in Europe, while the businesswoman remains in Buenos Aires with Martín Migueles.
