Amid a new chapter in the scandal that pits her against Mauro Icardi, Wanda Nara surprised everyone by sharing on her social media a commercial together with her ex-husband, Maxi López, for Valentine’s Day. The video quickly went viral and caused all kinds of interpretations.
The collaboration promotes an event for Valentine’s Day in Mar del Plata, the city where both of them will take part in a commercial activation. In the footage, López appears in front of a table with freshly baked cookies. Wanda enters the scene and joins a relaxed dialogue that, although scripted, raises suspicions.
"If we go back to Mar del Plata, we have to get ready properly", the former striker says. Then, in a black-and-white segment, Wanda says: "Maxi, do you know what I was thinking? That it was obvious you were going to invite me somewhere for Valentine’s Day". His response, delivered humorously, was: "What are you talking about, Solange?"
Although it is an advertising piece, on social media many users interpreted the exchange as a provocative nod amid the legal and media conflict that Wanda has with Icardi. Other users pointed out that the spot was uncomfortable given that Maxi López is in a relationship with Daniela Christiansson, who lives in Switzerland with the children they share.
The post arrived at a particularly sensitive moment. Hours earlier, Wanda had published strong statements on X and Instagram, where she claimed that Icardi sent her messages in the early hours after a party in Türkiye.
New accusations and private messages between Mauro and Wanda
On her social media, Wanda wrote enigmatic phrases such as:"Children and drunk people do not lie" and "A few more WhatsApp messages for the courts," implying that she might file a new legal complaint.
According to what Yanina Latorre said live on SQP on América TV, Icardi allegedly tried to contact her by video call from his truck after leaving a celebration in Türkiye. "He was alone and he wanted to call me on camera," was reportedly the message that Wanda shared with the journalist.
In addition, the businesswoman indirectly targeted María Eugenia Suárez, the footballer’s current partner, with phrases that referred to "a woman who goes along with all of this for money."
