Maxi López returned to Argentina after a brief absence from MasterChef Celebrity Argentina (Telefe) and broke his silence on two topics that had been causing a stir: his relationship with Wanda Nara and the complaint that Mauro Icardi filed against Martín Migueles, the businesswoman's current partner. In an interview with Bondi Live, the former footballer clarified rumors and publicly defended the lawyer, with whom he keeps a good relationship.
López explained that his temporary departure from the show was due to a domestic accident suffered by his partner, Daniela Christiansson, in Switzerland. "Daniela is in the seventh month of pregnancy and had quite a big scare. I didn't hesitate and took the first flight to be with her", he said. After spending several days with her, he returned to continue in the competition.
In that context, he took the opportunity to deny rumors about an alleged "tension" with Wanda Nara, who hosts the show. "Nothing is agreed upon. Everything comes out naturally. Wanda and I have always had that spark... we've always teased each other, sometimes in a good way and sometimes not so much. Now we're in a good place. Sometimes the terms were different, but in reality, this was the relationship: we've always laughed a lot and that naturally translates to television," he explained.
