Lionel Messi and Antonella broke Coldplay's 'Kiss Cam' and drove Miami wild
The couple was spotted at the show, and Chris Martin paid tribute to them in front of an ecstatic stadium
Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo experienced a special moment during the latest Coldplay show at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. While they enjoyed the performance with their children, the band's famous "Kiss Cam" surprised them on the giant screen and the stadium erupted in applause.
The world champion blushed when he saw his face on the Jumbotron and the cameras also focused on Antonela, who looked at him while laughing. It was then that Chris Martin, the band's lead singer, interrupted the show to dedicate a few words to them.
"Lio, my beautiful brother, you and your wife look great. Thank you for coming today to watch our man play, the number one athlete of all time," the British musician said from the stage.
A warm gesture amid ovations and praise
Chris Martin's gesture moved those present. Messi, visibly shy, smiled and waved while the fans chanted his name enthusiastically. Images of the moment quickly went viral on social media and became part of the show's emotional highlights.

The concert marked the end of a series of Coldplay performances in Miami, with a packed stadium and an impressive stage production. The presence of the Argentine star with his family added an unexpected touch to the night.

The Kiss Cam had already caused a previous scandal
It is worth remembering that days earlier, the same "Kiss Cam" made global headlines by capturing a scene that ended in a corporate scandal. Back then, the camera focused on Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, Human Resources Director, in a compromising situation.
Chris Martin also reacted then during the show: "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy," he joked to the audience. However, the comment had consequences: both were dismissed from the company and Byron's wife removed his last name from social media.
Now, the "Kiss Cam" became the protagonist again, but this time for a gesture of tenderness and admiration toward one of the planet's most beloved idols.
