During an interview on Radio Mitre, as part of his tour through Santiago del Estero and Tucumán, President Javier Milei appeared optimistic regarding the legislative elections on October 26 and stated that the country will enter, starting in 2026, "a path of growth between 7 and 10% of GDP".
The president attributed the recent financial tensions to electoral uncertainty and predicted that "after the elections, those noises will disappear." He also anticipated future announcements regarding agreements with the United States, clarifying that "they will be released when they are signed" and also confirmed that Washington's support is guaranteed at least until 2027.

The President reiterated his accusation against the old political caste and targeted Jorge Taiana, Fuerza Patria's leading candidate, whom he described as "an accomplice of the murderous, bomb-throwing Montonero narco-terrorists." When referring to the convicted Cristina Kirchner, he said: "The leader of the Kirchnerists is imprisoned, she has to go out on the balcony and wears an ankle monitor. Right? We can walk freely down the street," emphasizing the different models of country they represent.
Milei highlighted the achievements of his administration compared to the legacy he received. "Salaries when Kirchnerism left were 300 dollars and today they are at 1,000. There is less inflation, fewer poor people, fewer protests, less drug trafficking. Real wages and pensions are higher, although it is not instantaneous," he declared.
