Milei held a major campaign event in PBA and destroyed the Soviet Axel Kicillof.

The president spoke before a crowd of activists and leaders of La Libertad Avanza

In his first campaign event in Buenos Aires province, President Javier Milei addressed hundreds of La Libertad Avanza supporters and leaders at an event held in the city of La Plata.

During his speech, he stated that the district has been "unjustly punished by decades of neglect" and blamed the ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof, whom he described as "a fledgling Stalin," for the province's current woes.

The president began his remarks by acknowledging the work of his officials and local leaders, whom he thanked for their commitment in what he defined as "the prelude to the great battle that is approaching in Buenos Aires territory."

"There was a show called 'The Masked Magician,' and what he did was reveal magic tricks. I relate it to the privilege of being able to see five of my ministers presenting today, because what the world now calls 'the Argentine miracle' is thanks to these great people. That is the secret. So thank you all, because thanks to you we're going to pull Argentina out of the hole and make it great again," Milei said.

In another part of his speech, the President referred to the thinking of Machiavelli to discuss the current political moment: "The great challenge in turning our plans into an effective reality is knowing how to interpret the spirit of the times, knowing how to tune in with history. Machiavelli said 'fortune varies and men, stubborn in their ways, prosper while they are in harmony with it and fail when they diverge.' Today is the time for freedom and we have to tune in with it."

When referring specifically to Buenos Aires province, Milei stated that "the only way to complete the change entrusted by the people is by changing not only the national reality, but also what happens in the provinces and municipalities."

"That's why today, a year and a half after the 2023 feat, we face another historic battle in which the future of millions of Argentines is at stake and we have to rise to the occasion. We have the task of bringing the model of freedom to Buenos Aires province," he declared.

Criticism of Kicillof

In this context, Milei stated that "Buenos Aires politics is like returning to the misery of Massa's government" and argued that Kicillof's administration failed the citizens: "they charged them taxes to carry out public works and gave them nothing," in addition to describing the territory's financial situation as "a disaster."

"But what do you expect? If the Soviet struggles to add, he can't even add with an abacus, I'd say he even has trouble making a zero with a glass. It never crossed this idiot's mind to cut public spending," he harshly criticized.

Among the various criticisms of the governor, the President paused in his speech, but at the insistence of the supporters, he added: "Kicillof is the donkey without his main attribute, he's the eunuch donkey."

"They want to turn Buenos Aires province into an island where the reforms we're implementing never arrive and people continue living under their yoke. The only way to stop them is through the vote," he stated.

He also described Kicillof as "the last czar of misery, the heir to a failed model that destroyed everything it touched, he's hiding in his Kremlin, a tiny monarch who deprives people of their freedom out of fear that they might gain autonomy."

"So what is this upcoming election about? It's not simply one party against another, it's much more, it's a clash of models and directions. Under the slogan 'Kirchnerism or freedom' lies the interpretation of our history and the destiny of our nation," he analyzed.

Finally, the President assured that in the province "a cleanup must also be carried out" and that "this is the task entrusted by the citizens and one that Buenos Aires residents will undoubtedly reaffirm in September and October."
