The new Morning Consult measurement shows a five-percentage-point increase in approval
The image of Argentine President Javier Milei was once again among the highest in the world, according to the latest survey by the Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker from consulting firm Morning Consult.
With a 60% positive image, Milei ranked as the third world leader with the highest level of support, according to data collected between December 29, 2025 and January 4, 2026, which reflect a simple seven-day moving average among adults in each surveyed country.
The international ranking is led by India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who reaches a 70% positive image, with only a 23% negative rating and 7% of people who replied that they did not know or did not express an opinion. In second place is Sanae Takaichi, from Japan, with 63% approval, a 24% negative image, and 12% undecided.

In that scenario, Milei appears immediately behind, sharing third place, above Andrej Babiš, from the Czech Republic, who also records a 60% positive image, and with a 29% negative image and 11% undecided responses. The Argentine president shows one of the lowest levels of indecision in the survey, with only 3% of respondents who did not express an opinion, while his negative image stands at 37%.
Below is Lee Jae-myung, from South Korea, with a 57% positive image, followed by Karin Keller-Sutter, from Switzerland, who reaches 56%. Both leaders show levels of indecision higher than those of the Argentine president, with 10% and 15%, respectively.
The report also details the situation of other Western leaders. Mark Carney, from Canada, obtains a 50% positive image, while Anthony Albanese, from Australia; Jonas Gahr Støre, from Norway; and Claudia Sheinbaum, from Mexico, record 45% approval, with rejection levels that in several cases exceed that figure.

The evolution of Milei's image reinforces the current data. At the beginning of December, the Argentine president recorded a 55% positive image, a 41% negative image, and 4% of people who replied that they did not know or did not express an opinion, which placed him in fourth place in the global ranking. The new measurement shows an increase of five percentage points in approval, a decrease in indecision, and a rise in the international ranking.
