The Military House filed a criminal complaint against journalists from the Todo Noticias (TN) channel, producers and directors of the signal for alleged illegal espionage inside the Casa Rosada. According to the judicial file, the accusation points directly against Luciana Geuna and Ignacio Salerno, among others responsible, for the dissemination of material obtained through clandestine filming in sensitive areas of
the Government.
According to the presentation signed by the head of the Military House, Sebastián Ignacio Ibáñez, the events occurred during the broadcast of the program “What about tomorrow?” of Sunday, April 19. A report was exhibited there showing tours of the corridors and offices of the Casa Rosada, allegedly made with hidden devices such as “smart lenses”,
without official authorization.
Clandestine recordings and exposure of sensitive information
The court document maintains that the material was obtained surreptitiously and that the journalists themselves recognized that the records were “sneaky”, that is, made without the knowledge or consent
of the authorities.
According to the complaint, the content released not only shows the internal functioning of the Government, but also key details such as restricted access, movements of officials, traffic routes within the building and even security patterns. This information, warns the Military House, could be used by hostile actors to plan attacks or violate presidential security
. Ignacio Salerno
In addition, the file indicates that the disclosure of this data directly compromises security protocols and leaves both the President and his team and the personnel responsible for their custody exposed
.
Crimes against the security of the Nation
At the legal level, the presentation frames the facts into possible crimes provided for in articles 222 and 223 of the Criminal Code, linked to the disclosure of State secrets and the dissemination of sensitive information due to negligence
or recklessness.
The complaint argues that the conduct of the defendants could constitute a direct threat to national security, given that the Casa Rosada is not only an administrative building, but the operational center of the Executive Branch, where strategic, political and military matters are handled.
Evidence measures and possible judicial progress
The Kirchnerist Luciana Geuna
Among the measures requested, the Military House asked the Justice to require TN all the complete audiovisual material, including original recordings, discards and metadata, with the objective of reconstructing how the information was
obtained.
The summons of Casa Rosada security personnel, technical expertise on the videos and the urgent preservation of digital evidence to prevent its alteration or elimination were also requested.
A case that escalates amid international tension
The file highlights that the episode occurred in a context of high international tension, with Argentina strategically aligned with the United States and Israel in the face of global threats. Within this framework, the dissemination of sensitive information about the Casa Rosada takes on an even greater seriousness, as it can compromise the country's security in conflict scenarios
.
Justice must now determine if illegal espionage actually existed and if those involved committed crimes against State security.
