On a night full of surprises and unexpected political gestures, Mirtha Legrand and Javier Milei coincided at the commemorative fashion show for the 50-year career of designer Roberto Piazza. The event, which took place in Barracas, ended up being more than a fashion celebration: it turned into a stage of high symbolic impact.
During her appearance, Legrand took the microphone to thank for the invitation, but she didn't limit herself to formalities. Spontaneously, she exclaimed: "Long live freedom, damn it!", the already iconic libertarian slogan that identifies President Milei and his government.
The audience replied enthusiastically: shouts, applause, and ovations filled the room. From a nearby box, the president didn't hide his joy at the gesture. He smiled broadly and applauded, visibly pleased.

The president's inner circle celebrated the gesture
Milei attended the event accompanied by key figures of his government. By his side were the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich; the presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni; his sister and general secretary, Karina Milei; the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos; and the Secretary of Culture, Leonardo Cifelli.
All of them celebrated Mirtha's words, which quickly went viral on social media thanks to a video shared by Adorni. The moment not only had an impact at the event but also in the digital universe, where it became a trend.
