Javier Milei was interviewed by Mariana Brey and boosted Telefe's ratings.

The president spoke about the failure of Ficha Limpia, criticizing both Kirchnerism and PRO for what happened

President Javier Milei gave an interview to journalist Mariana Brey, which was published this morning by Telefe, where he spoke about numerous political topics and, as often happens, boosted the channel's ratings during a less-watched time slot.

The interview aired this morning on the show A la Barbarossa, hosted by Georgina Barbarossa on Telefe, and achieved a remarkable audience measurement, becoming the leader in its time slot on open television.

In terms of ratings, A la Barbarossa scored 5.5 points, far surpassing the main cable news channels. At the same time, TN obtained 3.3, LN+ 1.6, A24 1.5, C5N 1.3, and Crónica TV 1.1. These figures reflect the strong impact that Milei's presence continues to generate in the media and among the public.

President Milei's presence on television not only causes the channels' ratings to soar but also shows the high level of public interest in political issues and the country's direction.

The interview with Milei

President Javier Milei denied that the former governor of Misiones and provincial political leader, Carlos Rovira, contacted him to change the vote of the two Misiones senators during the debate on the Clean Record project in the Senate.

Milei pointed to a possible political maneuver between Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Mauricio Macri, which would have had the sole objective of harming him. "For me, there was an agreement between Cristina and Macri to smear me, because the only one who loses with this is me," he asserted, referring to the rejection of the initiative that sought to disqualify candidates with convictions.

He explained, "Cristina managed to prevent Clean Record from passing" while Macri "smeared me to gain a small electoral advantage." "This is Argentine politics," he concluded with a critical tone.

The president confirmed that he will present the project again next year and launched strong criticisms toward leaders of the PRO and Peronism. "Did they overturn it now? I have no problem, I will come back stronger. I may have lost a battle, but not the war. I will kick all the thieves out," he concluded.

Milei also launched harsh criticisms against Silvia Lospennato and the PRO, claiming that the Clean Record project "bore her name." "I took Lospennato's error-filled project and corrected it. The project that went to the Senate is mine. I put my effort into it," he asserted.

Additionally, he directly targeted Kirchnerism for the initiative's failure: "The problem is the Kirchnerist thieves, the 35 who voted for this. Every time Juntos por el Cambio made deals with the Kirchnerists, they blamed me. Check my phone, I have no problem. Check my phone. Check whatever you want."

Regarding the false claims of an alleged call from Rovira, he was blunt: "You can testify to what you're seeing. There is no call from Rovira. These liars from Clarín have me fed up. They are disgraceful, they put it on the front page and align with the yellows."

He also revealed that Clarín "invents all kinds of nonsense" because they are "pressuring" him to hand over Argentina's communications and "do whatever they want."

He concluded by reaffirming his theory of a pact between political leaders: "For me, they made an agreement between (Mauricio) Macri and Cristina (Kirchner) to go against me. The votes weren't there, (Rovira's claim) is a blatant lie. Journalists are a machine of lies. Did they overturn Clean Record? Fine...I will come back stronger."
