Nancy Dupláa defended Lizy Tagliani and caused outrage with her remarks

The actress surprised with her statements about the media war between the comedian and the host

Nancy Dupláa  was encouraged to firmly defend Lizy Tagliani  amid the scandal involving her with Viviana Canosa. This statement was made during the return of Los Profesionales de Siempre to the Canal 9 screen, a program that, it should be remembered, marked the debut of the journalist as a host.

Now, under the leadership of Florencia de la Ve, this new edition features a male panel dressed in suits, debating the most recent and relevant showbiz topics that arise minute by minute. This week, as it could not be otherwise, the main focus was on the media war between Viviana Canosa and Lizy Tagliani, which escalated to the Comodoro Py courts.

During the program, a series of opinions from entertainment figures were presented, which were relevant for their statements. Among them, Angel de Brito, Pablo Echarri, and Nancy Dupláa stood out. But it was the latter who made the most resonant and controversial statement of the day.

"Public shaming can be spared, even if the greatest atrocity has been committed", Dupláa launched, a phrase that ignited debate both on the program and on social media for the meaning it encompasses in a case that includes child abuse. Although at first, it seemed to refer to the alleged theft that Canosa reported when Lizy was her personal hairdresser, her words were interpreted as a broader defense of the right to rebuild oneself, beyond the past.

Ángel de Brito himself was quick to show his disagreement with the actress's statements, labeling her stance as "a farce." However, the K actress did not back down. On the contrary, she doubled down and said: "There is a part of the media that can't tolerate someone who comes from below reaching the same places as the privileged", a clear allusion to Lizy Tagliani's career in the media.

At that point, she found support from her husband, actor Pablo Echarri, who described the situation as another example of the  "cruelty" with which certain sectors of the entertainment industry treat some artists.
