Diego Leuco broke his silence and shared his opinion on the Lizy Tagliani scandal

The journalist spoke for the first time about the media conflict involving his co-host

Diego Leuco  spoke for the first time about the media conflict involving his co-host Lizy Tagliani  and journalist Viviana Canosa. Amid the serious accusations that have emerged in recent days, Leuco chose to stay out of the situation and let the matter take its course without taking any side regarding the events.

In a conversation with the reporter from LAM (América TV), the journalist appeared very calm and clarified that he is experiencing the situation with tranquility. "Normal, very calm, waiting for everything to be solved in the best way," he expressed when asked about how he is handling the comedian's conflict.

Regarding Lizy's statement at the beginning of last Sunday's program, Leuco explained why he didn't add anything:  "Lizy wanted to say a few words when the program started, so she did, and I don't have much to contribute or add in this situation."

He continued saying: "I do my job, I'm alert to what's happening, and I assume it will be solved." Making his point of view clear.

When asked if he believes his colleague or not, the host was categorical: "It doesn't have to do with believing or not believing. It's irresponsible to start giving opinions when there are two people arguing in that tone. It's not my issue, and I don't want to be part of the discussion."

Additionally, Diego took the opportunity to clarify and dispel doubts about why he won't be present on La Peña de Morfi for the next two Sundays. As he revealed, he has a trip planned for months with his family:  "It's a super important trip, it has to do with my family and my history, especially with my dad."

In a previous interview with Pronto, the host provided more details and revealed the real reason for his family trip and the special destination: "We're going to Poland, my grandfather was from there. It's for the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust." He added a detail that didn't go unnoticed:  "We're going with the whole family. I had the trip planned even before signing this year's contract."
