River's transfer market remains active and the list of departures continues to grow. In the last few hours it was confirmed that the club reached an agreement with Getafe to transfer Sebastián Boselli, who will leave Núñez after being relegated in Marcelo Gallardo's plans.
According to journalist Hernán Castillo, the deal was closed at 1.5 million euros for 50% of the transfer rights of the 22-year-old center-back. The decision was aligned with the player's own stance, who expressed his intention to continue his career in European soccer after failing to find continuity in the first team.

Boselli's case is a particular one. The U-20 World Cup champion with Uruguay in 2023 had been recalled by Gallardo in mid-2025 after his loan at Estudiantes, however, his return did not translate into minutes and his role was smaller than expected.
In recent weeks there was interest from Argentine soccer: Independiente, Racing and San Lorenzo inquired about his situation, but none of those approaches moved forward. River even tried to include him as part of the negotiations with Ciclón for Jhohan Romaña, although that alternative was also ruled out.
Finally, Boselli's future will be in Spain. The Uruguayan defender would travel this Monday, January 12 to join the Spanish side, while Millonario continues to adjust its squad with the transfer window still open.
With his departure, almost all the players who arrived during Martín Demichelis's tenure left the club. The only one from that list who for the moment remains at the Núñez club is Facundo Colidio, who recently renewed his contract until December 2027 and has a release clause of 100 million euros.

Boselli's numbers at River
Coming from Defensor Sporting in Uruguay, the center-back arrived at Millonario in mid-2023 in exchange for 4.4 million dollars for 70% of his rights. From that moment on, the U-20 World Cup champion had little playing time, which led to his loan move to Estudiantes in August 2024. Later, in June 2025, Muñeco Gallardo decided to recall him to reinforce the defense, but he was not considered either.
Across his two brief spells, Boselli accumulated 1,400 minutes in 19 matches, in which he scored one goal and provided one assist. In terms of titles, he lifted the 2022/23 Supercopa and the 2022/2023 Champions Trophy.
