The patrimonial court didn't end the judicial recess to analyze the former president's injunction that suspended the effects of the board of directors meeting in which the vacancy was decreed

Marcelo Moretti added a new legal setback. Patrimonial Court on Duty A decided not to lift the judicial recess to address the precautionary measure filed by the former president of San Lorenzo, who was seeking to suspend the effects of the Board of Directors meeting held on December 16, in which the club's leadership vacuum was declared.
Moretti's motion aimed to annul what was decided at that leadership summit. According to his position, the minutes of the meeting were allegedly tampered with and did not have the signatures required for their validity. However, the courts considered that there were no urgent reasons that would justify handling the case during the recess.
In the ruling, it was clarified that "nothing prevents the natural judges of the Court of Appeals in the case from hearing the appeal that was filed, since once the recess ends there will be sufficient time to process that remedy".
Moretti tendrá que esperar hasta después del receso para tener una resolución
The decision was publicly confirmed by Marcelo Culotta, a former club executive, who shared the ruling on social media and strongly criticized Moretti. "We are watching closely for any step that Moretti might want to take. We continue defending San Lorenzo's interests. On May 30, the members must be able to legitimize the authorities after the disaster that he caused during his administration", he posted.
This is not the first time that Moretti has tried to judicially block a decision by the Board of Directors. After the leadership vacuum declared in September, he had already filed similar precautionary measures. Back then, Court No. 51 rejected the request on December 23, considering that it was not clearly specified which rights had been violated. The former president's defense requested a reconsideration, but the start of the judicial recess left the case with no progress.
This way, the courts maintained the institutional status quo and postponed any decision until the resumption of judicial activity, leaving Moretti without any immediate effect on the leadership vacuum declared at the Boedo club.
