In recent hours, a false story about an alleged pregnancy of Dai Fernández —partner of Nicolás Vázquez— began to spread on social media and some entertainment websites. The news claimed that the actor would become a father, something he himself publicly denied with a forceful message.
"I can't believe I have to say this, but there's a story that I'm going to be a father and it's completely false. This is yet another example of clickbait, false, misleading information," Vázquez stated in a story he shared on his official Instagram account.
"This way they confuse people and these things really hurt and cause a lot of pain. It's not right that anything can be said or posted on a social network. I hope that at some point this changes, since it's a lack of respect. Thank you," he concluded.

The rumor started with a comment from host Tartu during his show, where he said: "With Dai he's going to be a father". It was simply a personal opinion, without any confirmation, but it was enough for various sites to reproduce the phrase out of context and turn it into a supposed announcement.
According to journalist May Martorelli on Arriba Argentinos (eltrece), the problem lay in the intentional distortion of the original comment: "It was just speculation from Tartu, but several websites picked it up as if it were confirmed news, using sensationalist headlines to generate traffic."
Among the examples of those headlines, some even mixed in false information about his ex-partner, Gimena Accardi, which fueled even more confusion. "What he's criticizing is that. It was an opinion, and it was distorted for clickbait purposes," Martorelli explained.
The journalist concluded the report with a clear message: "So Nico is really upset. Leave people alone." This episode takes place in a context in which both Nico and Dai have chosen to keep their relationship away from excessive media exposure, after their relationship became public following the actor's separation from Gimena Accardi, with whom for years they had dreamed of building a family that was not possible.
