The preview surprised audiences with its aesthetic fidelity to the 2007 installment: floating galaxies, vibrant colors, deep references to the lore.
According to Illumination, the idea is to offer a visual spectacle that combines nostalgia with a fresh narrative to attract new audiences.

The release is part of the major global celebration for 40 years of Super Mario. Nintendo recently relaunched Super Mario Galaxy + Galaxy 2 and is preparing Mario Tennis Fever, as well as an enhanced version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
