Nvidia announced a historic investment of US$100 billion in OpenAI. The agreement aims to build data centers and systems with greater power to train and run the next generation of artificial intelligence models.

Nvidia's founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, stated that this collaboration "marks the next step to drive the coming era of intelligence." The plan calls for the installation of at least 10 gigawatts, which is equivalent to between 4 and 5 million GPUs.

Technical details of the investment
Both companies will work with Nvidia NVLink technology to connect their architectures. They also confirmed that the first gigawatt of systems will be implemented in 2026 on the Vera Rubin platform.
