In a new relief for retirees from Córdoba, the average benefits paid by the Córdoba Pension Fund reached $1,591,380 in July, a level that not only exceeds inflation but also represents a remarkable real improvement.
This is the third consecutive month in which the increase in the average benefit surpasses the general price index.

The year-over-year increase stands at approximately 17% in real terms, which confirms a recovery in purchasing power after a challenging inflationary context.
The average pension last month was $1,591,380, 3.04% higher than the previous month and 64.7% higher than a year earlier in nominal terms.
Córdoba pensions
If July's benefits are analyzed by sector, employees of the "Public Administration and Decentralized Agencies" improved by 23.5%.
Meanwhile, "Judges and officials of the Judiciary" saw an increase of 1.7%; "Executive and Legislative Authorities," 18%; police officers and prison service workers, 31.8%; and the "Teaching" sector, 15.4%.
In all cases, these are real year-over-year terms and refer to average pensions.
Epec retirees, meanwhile, saw a 19.5% real improvement in July; bank employees, 1.3%; and former employees of the Córdoba Municipality, a positive 2.7%.

Administrative staff receive an average of $1,565,363; judges, $5,651,861.
