Oriana Sabatini revealed the reasons why her aunt Gabriela decided to step away

The distancing between Oriana Sabatini  and her aunt, Gabriela Sabatini, was one of the most talked-about topics in recent months, fueling rumors about a possible bad family relationship. The absence of the former tennis player at Oriana's wedding with the player Paulo Dybala further ignited the speculations, leaving many surprised by the lack of contact between them. After several months of silence, the singer decided to speak publicly about this topic and clarify the situation.

In a recent interview with the program "Bondi", hosted by Ángel De Brito, the influencer and actress explained sincerely that, despite having tried to reach out to her aunt several times, she never received a response from her.

"I sent her messages several times, but she didn't reply. There's a kind of wall on her part that doesn't allow me to get close," Ori confessed, visibly saddened by the lack of communication between them.

The model made it clear that the lack of relationship didn't start after her wedding, but that the distancing already existed beforehand: "We hadn't been talking for a while. Even so, I sent her the wedding invitation, but I didn't receive a response," she stated, emphasizing that the decision to distance was Gabriela's and not hers.

The rumor of an alleged dispute over inheritance and other family conflicts circulated strongly on social media and in the media, but Oriana flatly denied these theories, which only caused more speculation: "I've heard many things that aren't true. It bothers me that they make up things about my family," she expressed, making clear her discomfort with the unfounded rumors for which the athlete decided to pause the family bond.

Despite the distancing, Oriana emphasized that she holds no grudge against Gabriela and still feels a deep affection for her aunt: "I asked many times what was going on, but well. There was no response," she said with resignation at the multiple attempts to start a conversation to clarify the situation with her. When asked if she would like to mend the relationship with Gabriela, Oriana didn't hesitate to respond: "Of course I would like to. I always have the doors open for people who want to be in my life."
