The health of Ramón "Palito" Ortega, 83 years old, has once again raised concerns among his followers after the cancellation of two shows from his national tour, which were scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
According to his daughter, Julieta Ortega, the artist is still going through a recovery process that is slower than expected and is not yet able to return to the stage.
In a conversation with Teleshow, Julieta provided details about her father's current condition.

"No, he hasn't returned yet. I mean, they set dates, but he's still not ready to come back. He's still in a lot of pain," the actress explained.
She was referring to the aftereffects that Palito is experiencing after being diagnosed with herpes zoster, a viral condition that caused him severe pain and the appearance of blisters on his face.
Although the skin lesions are now under control, the discomfort persists.
"The blisters on his face caused by herpes zoster are gone, but he's still in a lot of pain," Julieta explained, making it clear that the recovery process is taking longer than expected.
The cancellations that set off the alarm
The most recent suspension was for the show the singer was scheduled to give on November 9 at the Paraná Convention Center, produced by Paracima Producciones.
Through an official statement, the company reported that the concert was canceled due to force majeure related to the artist's health, and initiated a ticket refund process for those who had already purchased their tickets.
Esta no fue la primera vez que el cantante cancelaba su show en Paraná
"We deeply regret this situation. The priority is Mr. Ortega's well-being, and we wish him a speedy recovery," the production company stated in the message shared on social media.
This is not the first time the show in Paraná has been suspended: the show had already been rescheduled months ago for the same reason, which increased the concern among the popular idol's fans. In addition, another concert scheduled in the Buenos Aires province was also canceled, reinforcing the decision to postpone all activity until further notice.
