The historic MG Motor brand has confirmed its arrival in Argentina with an expansion plan that strengthens its presence in Latin America. The agreement with Eximar, an importer with a proven track record in the sector, will allow its entry into the local market.

The company aims to attract Argentine consumers with hybrid, electric, and combustion vehicles. They are betting on design, safety, and competitive prices, according to specialized media outlets.

A new player in Argentine mobility

"We are excited to announce our entry into the Argentine market," said Felipe Palma, Sales & Fleet Senior Manager at SAIC Motor South America. He explained that the goal is to offer modern technology and more environmentally friendly options.

Meanwhile, Federico Pieruzzini, president and CEO of Eximar, emphasized that this alliance represents a "milestone" for the company. It now incorporates a global brand focused on safety, design, and extended warranty.

MG models and prices in Argentina

The first stage includes four vehicles designed for different user profiles:

  • New MG3: non-plug-in hybrid compact with a sporty style. Price from 23,500 dollars.
  • New MG ZS: non-plug-in hybrid SUV, ideal for families. Price from 27,500 dollars.
  • MG4: 100% electric hatchback with a sporty design. Estimated price at 32,000 dollars.
  • MG Cyberster: high-end electric roadster. Price close to 127,000 dollars.

Dealership network and strategy

The brand plans to have 10 dealerships in the country's main cities. Sales will begin in the coming weeks, and the different models will be added progressively.

"We've designed a commercial plan that ensures a differentiated experience for each customer, with robust after-sales service and selected dealerships," Pieruzzini stressed.
